Tucson, Ariz. – UniSource Energy Services will be closing our walk-up payment counter at 1741 N. Grand Avenue on July 31. This change will help us focus our resources on safe, reliable and affordable service and faster, more efficient customer support, particularly as customer traffic at the payment counter has declined by about 85 percent over the past several years.
As part of an agreement with the City of Nogales, the pay station was scheduled to close June 30. UniSource has decided to keep the pay counter open for half days, from 8 a.m.-noon, throughout July as an additional accommodation for customers who are transitioning to other payment options. The pay counter will permanently close July 31.
We will continue to offer many convenient bill payment options, including by mail, online, through digital payment apps, or in-person at several local retailers. Convenience fees may apply for some options, including payments made at Walmart or Family Dollar Stores.
UniSource makes it easy for customers to pay their monthly bills with no additional fees. Choices include using our Mobile App, signing up for My Account on uesaz.com, or automatically deducting payments from U.S. checking or savings account using our Auto Pay service.
