Crews Nearly Complete with Storm Damage Repairs in Mohave County
UniSource crews expect to finalize restoration Saturday, Sept. 10 to the remaining homes in the Fort Mohave area, where Sunday night’s storm blew down or damaged more than 60 power poles.
Crews, who have been working around the clock since the start of the outage, restored service to the Sunrise Villas subdivision at around 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8.
All 70 power poles have been installed and crews are now working on connecting the conductors. Residents in the Sunrise Vista neighborhood, who are currently being served temporary power through large portable generators, will experience an outage of two hours between the window of 9 a.m. to noon while their power is switched over to the grid.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
