UniSource Energy Services is providing a credit to about 4,700 business customers on our small general service rates whose February bills were miscalculated as a result of a technical error that has been resolved.

The problem resulted from recently upgraded software that mistakenly added energy use for the billing period beginning Feb. 2, 2024. This error, which did not reoccur, was identified recently during an internal validation process.

To correct the error, we will apply a usage credit to affected customers that offsets the additional usage applied to their February bills. We’ll notify affected customers of this credit with a message on the bill that includes their credit, which ranges between $18 and $21.
